2020 Ski Meeting Report

In early February over 90 doctors and their families spent an incredible week in Park City, Utah learning from experts on a variety of topics. Skiers and snowboarders enjoyed near-perfect ski conditions, while non-skiers explored the Olympic Training Center, the historic downtown shops, and the Midway Crater and Ice Castles. Congratulations to the ski/snowboard racers winners:

• Fastest Male Dentist Skier – Dr. Daniel Charland (Burlington, Ontario)
• Fastest Female Dentist Skier – Dr. Helene Buithieu (Montreal, Quebec)
• Fastest Male Dentist Snowboarder – Dr. Ryan Roberts (Tulsa, Oklahoma)
• Fastest Female Dentist Snowboarder – Dr. Nasim Zarkesh (Las Vegas, Nevada)
• Fastest Dentist Over 65 – Dr. Tim Wright (Chapel Hill, North Carolina)

If you’ve ever thought about coming to the Ski Meeting, put next year’s dates on your calendar now: Jan 31 – Feb 5, 2021 – the meeting is returning to Vail, Colorado! Homebase will be the Grand Hyatt Vail, which has its own private lift. Watch swspd.org for more information as plans develop!
