Eligibility for Membership

To be eligible for election to Active or Associate membership, an individual will have fulfilled all requirements as set forth by the American Dental Association (ADA) for limitation of practice in the area of pediatric dentistry and be an active or international member of the AAPD.

Types of Memberships

Active Member

An Active member is a pediatric dentist who has paid the required dues and resides, practices, teaches or conducts research inside the geographic boundaries of the Society.

Associate Member

An Associate member is a pediatric dentist who has paid the required dues and resides, practices teaches or conducts research outside the geographic boundaries of the Society.

Affiliate Member

An Affiliate member is an individual whose interests are consistent with the mission of the Society.

Life Member

A Life member is an individual who is at least 65 years of age and has attended at least 10 Annual Meetings.

Student Member

A Student member is an individual who is currently enrolled in an accredited dental school or has graduated from a dental school and is engaged full time in a pediatric dental residency.

Membership Dues
