Arkansas Report – Nov 2020
The Arkansas State Dental Association urged Governor Asa Hutchinson and the Arkansas Department of Health to “keep dental offices open for patients by including dentistry in its designation of essential services.” This would be helpful should another lockdown occur with the recent rise in cases and fear of a winter increase.
The ASDA has also made additional online CE opportunities available to help dentists reach the appropriate number of CE hours from licensure. There is some discussion about reducing the required number of hours on a temporary basis due to Covid, but at this point this has not happened.
