Colorado Report – Nov 2020
The Colorado Academy of Pediatric Dentistry held our fall meeting in October virtually. We had a great turnout with those attending live via Zoom, and Dr. Catherine Flaitz presented an informative talk “Lesions I Caught from Pediatric Dentists during the Pandemic,” in which she tailored her oral pathology presentation around cases that our membership shared with her from their own practices. Dr. Flaitz will also be the pediatric dentist lecturer at the Rocky Mountain Dental Convention, which will be held virtually in January. We are working to continue to offer our membership continuing education opportunities virtually as we work together towards a healthier world, and are grateful to the Colorado Dental Association for their strong leadership and advocacy in assuring that dentists in Colorado have access to necessary PPE and have appropriate protocols in place to keep patients, dentists, and dental teams safe during the pandemic.
