Oklahoma Report – Nov 2020

In response to the executive order from Governor Stitt, the Oklahoma Dental Association has taken the precautionary step in submitting an RFP (“Request for Proposal”) that would determine every covered dental service, should our state move to a managed care system.

The ODA and their lobbyist believe that managed care can be stopped prior to the upcoming legislative session but it will require organized advocacy efforts to do so.

The OAPD has until Jan 1, 2021 to provide feedback to OHCA regarding the needs of our members and patients. Our leadership is currently working to provide this letter and welcome your feedback as described below.
