Dr. Dan Hoang is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist and an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He is also a past president of the Colorado Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, promoting continuing education and involvement in the state.
Dr. Dan was born and raised in Edison, NJ. The first born of Vietnamese parents who immigrated to the US during the Vietnam war, Dr. Dan was taught young that nothing in life should be taken for granted. “If my parents can come to a new country, start from zero, learn a new language and have the success that they have today, then I will always strive for nothing but excellence with all the opportunities I am given.”
Throughout high school, he worked at the pediatric dental office that he himself grew up in. It was there that he discovered his passion for working with children; dentistry was a bonus. Dr. Dan was accepted into an accelerated dental program right out of high school.
He attended Pennsylvania State University for three years, graduating magna cum laude.He went on to four years of dental school at Temple University, in Philadelphia, where he graduated summa cum laude.He then completed his pediatric dental residency at Children’s Hospital Colorado, where he served as chief resident. Soon after, he earned his board certification and maintains his status as a diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Since then, Dr. Dan has been in private practice in Colorado Springs while also maintaining privileges and an adjunct faculty position at Children’s Hospital Colorado.
