Dr. Shick completed her DDS, Residency in Pediatric Dentistry and Masters of Public Health degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She works part-time in private practice and part-time teaching at the University of Colorado’s School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Shick works extensively in global health, coordinating the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine’s program in Guatemala. She is a volunteer consultant for Smile Train, one of the leading global Cleft Lip and Palate non-profit organizations. In January 2024 she began a 3 year term on the Public Health Committee of FDI World Dental Federation. Dr. Shick has a long history with the SWSPD, attending her first Annual Ski Meeting in 2005 during residency.
