Joy Tucker Trigo DDS, has the distinction of being both a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She graduated in 1985 from University of New Mexico with a BS in Dental Hygiene. Her education continued at Baylor College of Dentistry where she graduated in 1991 and completed her pediatric dentistry specialty training at Baylor College of Dentistry in 1993. She has a private practice in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She has served on the New Mexico Cleft Lip and Palate team for over 20 years and has been a member of the New Mexico Board of Dental Health Care Anesthesia Committee since 2006. She has been the lead organizer for Give Kid’s a Smile Day since 2004 for the Southwest District Dental Society. Dr. Joy Trigo is married to Dr. Roberto Trigo and they have 2 children. Beyond her passion for pediatric dentistry, she loves all things athletic particularly Yoga and Pilates.
