Sedation Webinar

This 4-hour webinar will review various modalities, drugs and combinations that can be used to provide minimal to moderate sedation in a child or adolescent. Various drug classifications and descriptions of their unique qualities relating to sedation in dentistry will be outlined. Multiple combinations will be presented and the rationale behind choosing the most appropriate cocktail based on the unique patient, their medical conditions and the practitioner will be discussed. Will the high Xylitol toothpastes or Nano-Hydoxyapatite (nHA) containing toothpastes replace fluoridated toothpastes as effective alternatives? Are there effective alternatives to professionally applied topical fluoride, such as casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate (MI Paste, MI Paste Plus) or Iodine formulations?
